1.Power Transmission: The clutch plate is an important component in the power transmission system of the excavator. It is installed between the engine and the transmission. 2.Smooth Start - up and Gear - shifting: During the start - up of the excavator, by gradually releasing the clutch pedal, the pressure on the clutch plate gradually increases, and the friction force also gradually increases, allowing the excavator to start smoothly from a stand - still state. When shifting gears, stepping on the clutch pedal can separate the clutch plate from the flywheel, cutting off the power transmission, which facilitates the smooth replacement of gears and reduces the impact on the transmission system.
